DATA & IMAGE CAPTURE SERVICES

We adopt statistically proven data editing and validation methods to achieve the high degree levels of accuracy. We rely on double entry mechanism where one person enters and another person verifies. During verification if mismatch is found, the verifying person will have to compare the source document and the previous entry. Thus 100% accuracy is maintained. In addition, we are supported by Software development staff for the preparation of the data format and related functions. The transfer of data with conversions from one media type to another. E.g. ASCII to EBCDIC, ACCESS, XML or any data format. We ensure that all the data supplied to us is kept strictly confidential and not accessible to even the staff of this operation unless and otherwise, they are entering the data. Emirates Airline – 70 destinations in 50 countries

We have captured the data of the in flight service questioners based on the survey conducted by policy planning division of Emirates airline United Arab Emirates. Initially they wanted us to service them once and for all basis. However due to our prompt service the project was given to DMS on continual basis. Thus we have become their regular suppliers. We were selected from among the major bureau services in Sri Lanka and Middle East.


AUMS Ltd. – United Kingdom

Data capture of various projects sub contracted by Multimedia and CD ROM development services, bulk data entry and software licensing company in East Sussex, United Kingdom.


Navel & Military Press Ltd - United Kingdom

The Naval & Military Press Ltd. was founded in 1991 and quickly established itself as a mecca for the military enthusiast. Over 25,000 customers world wide enjoy receiving their regular newspaper which contains many hundreds of first class books.
We were contracted by Naval & Military Press, UK to capture data belonging to National Role of Honor index. Originally an Indian firm handled this job and the project was abandoned by NMP due to errors and delays. We completed the project to the satisfaction of NMP and we have been informed that more projects will follow.


Employees’ Provident Fund Department – Central Bank of Sri Lanka

Fund management institution under Central Bank of Sri Lanka to manage provident fund of entire Sri Lankan work force approximately 4.8 million members in the data base.
 In 1990, DMS was contracted by Central Bank, EPF department for data capture / verification of “C” statements on a continual basis. The work volume was around 400,000 members per month. The reconciliation with Financial Instruments is done by DMS, prior to data transfer using diskettes. When we commenced operations in July 1990, there was 4 months backlog. By 31st March 1991, the backlog was completely cleared and system was brought to the normal operational level.


Employees’ Provident Fund Project of Department of Labour

The controlling authority for the welfare of working population of the country.

We are capturing the source documents of the Employer and Employee details for the EPF. This involves 8,240,000 member documents and 350,000 employer documents to be captured and scanned. Our obligation in this project is to complete within one (01) year period.


Employees’ Trust Fund Board

Fund management Institution under Ministry of Finance to manage Trust fund of entire work force of Sri Lanka approximately 4.8 Million transactions per annum.

DMS has been the data capture contractor for R4 category members 213,000 transactions per month since 1992. The backlogs of 20 years of transactions were cleared with 100% accuracy.
